Providing Life-Celebrating Funeral, Graveside, and Memorial Services
for the Yakima Valley
Greg Holman, Celebrant and Minister
If you are seeking the services of a celebrant because of the passing of a loved one, please accept my sincerest condolences concerning your loss.
Losing someone you love through death is painful and personal. Grief is unpredictable, solitary, and an unforgettable experience, one that can't be healed in a moment, a month, or even a lifetime. Learning to live without the daily physical presence of a loved one is indeed a journey. Meaningful end-of-life ceremonies can be a vital part of beginning the process of grieving and can help to ease the pain of your loss.
As a minister and celebrant with 25 years of experience in the field, it would be my privilege to walk alongside you during this difficult time and help you plan a Celebration of Life Gathering that presents a personalized tribute to your loved one. Whether you wish to hold a gathering in a venue such as a church, funeral home, private residence, graveside, or other location, it would be an honor to take this journey with you.
You may or may not wish to have a specific spiritual focus for the gathering; it may not have been part of the life of your loved one. Let me work with you to craft a gathering that fits the personality of your loved one and family, not anyone else's views or agenda.
As an experienced celebrant, I will listen to your needs and stories and follow the design that you wish for and that we create together. This may include personal tributes (spoken or written), music presentations, pictures or DVD slideshows, poems and other readings, or even dove releases. There are many options when choosing how to celebrate --
you can be as creative as you wish.
